Welcome to the Holiday Club Community Web Page

Hydrilla Project

It is with great appreciation to all contributing homeowners that we can report that our Herbicide Lake Treatment performed earlier this year has been extremely successful in addressing our severe hydrilla infestation problem.

Please visit the Lake Ann Preservation Group, Inc. (LAPG) website www.lakeannodessa.com to view the pre- and post-hydrilla lake treatment aerial flyover videos.

As anticipated, water clarity has diminished due to the decaying hydrilla biomass and the recent influx of rainwater runoff from the surrounding communities, but we anticipate that our lakes will continue to recover and regain their natural visibility over time.  We need to remember that “The only redeeming quality of hydrilla was its ability to filter water impurities and provide enhanced water clarity, which is why it was originally introduced for aquariums.”

We added 100 carp (per FWC guidelines) to Lake Ann in November 2022, as part of our ongoing annual maintenance program that has been budgeted for the next two years to help keep the hydrilla controlled. Unfortunately, hydrilla remediation is not a “one and done” endeavor. It will require continued monitoring, treatment refinement, and funding over time.

Again, our sincere thank you to everyone throughout our communities for your responsiveness and generosity during this process, and we know that everyone is excited and relieved that we have our beautiful lakes back!

Boat Ramp Gate

The boat ramp gate has been installed to STOP non-residents from utilizing Holiday Club’s PRIVATE boat ramp to launch/remove their watercraft.  The boat ramp gate is now fully functional.  Your CURRENT gate remote will open the mag lock. You will not be able to use your directory code to allow guests to open the gate.  Owners/Residents must be present with their Gate Remote to open the gate to the boat ramp.  The gate will need to be manually opened the rest of the way once the mag lock is released. Please CLOSE the gate after you are done launching/removing your watercraft and ensure the mag lock is engaged.  Do not leave gate open or leave your trailer or vehicle parked in the boat ramp while you are on the water.  Please do not park in the Boat Ramp area so gate may be fully opened. New/additional gate remotes WILL NOT be given out. Reminder that guests must always be accompanied by an owner or resident when using the beach and the boat ramp.  Please report any issues to the Board.

Boat/Jet Ski Trailers

Please park your boat/jet ski trailers at your residence and/or at the playground area.  This will enable all residents to be able to park their vehicle while they enjoy the lake/beach area.  Please refer to the Community Rules located on the Holiday Club website.

Watercraft Limit on Lake

Please adhere to the watercraft limitation of no more than two (2) watercrafts at the lake/beach area at one time, per residence.  This limitation includes the residents’ watercrafts and any guests which may have bought their own watercraft to the lake. This will enable all residents to enjoy the lake/beach area and be able to park their watercraft along the beachfront.  Please refer to the Community Rules located on the Holiday Club website.

Call Box and Gate Access

If you need new, additional or replacement Gate Remotes or if you need to be added/updated to the call box directory, please use the Gate Access Request Form located on the HLC Trust Documents page. Gate Access Requests will only be accepted from current property owners. If you are a tenant, please contact your landlord.

When visitors call you from the call box to open the gate, please press the FIVE (5) key on your phone keypad to open the gate.  You may need to press the 5 key several times before the gate will open.  Also try holding the 5 key down for a few seconds.  Reminder that all guests must be accompanied by an owner or resident of Holiday Club at all times.

Do you have a recurring Service Provider, Contractor or Realtor who needs gate access?  Please complete and submit the new Service Provider Gate Access Request Form located on the HLC Trust Documents page.

Are you hosting a large party?  You can request a one time temporary gate code to use on the day of your event.  Please email your request with details of the event to hlctrustinc@gmail.com.

Thank you!
